“The team at Serenity really gave me hope when I walked in the door. I spent three months doing everything I was told. My psychiatrist was very disappointing, I know what works for me and what doesn’t as I am 50 years old. He tried 6 different medications, all of which didn’t work for what he prescribed them to me for. I went through 36 sessions of TMS and tried doing the ketamine treatment which worked but both times I tried it my blood pressure would go from 90/60 to 120/80 and there were drops left in the infusion but because my blood pressure rose they stopped the infusion and waited for my blood pressure to drop. I got curious and went to another psychiatrist and she did more than a 20 minute appointment (that is what you get at serenity) and during my hour appointment I was diagnosed with two different disorders and the new physiatrist took her time to listen to everything and my one hour appointment turned into a two hour appointment because she cared enough to listen to me. She listened to my experience with Serenity and said that she thinks they are heavily invested in TMS and they must try and put everyone through it. Very disappointed as Serenity has the ability to be great but the psychiatrists need to take time to properly diagnose people and not just put people through TMS”

“I came to Serenity seeking help for suicidal ideation and depression. I was so hopeful that I referred friends and family to this facility. What followed was one of the most harmful experiences of my life. I was enrolled in the Theta Burst TMS anxiety protocol. Their consent forms never disclosed that this treatment can worsen anxiety — a known risk. I experienced worsening anxiety after every single session and reported it to staff day one of administration. I was told it would "feel funny". My treating psychiatrist was never notified of my adverse reactions throughout my entire course of treatment. During my final week, I had a panic attack mid-session, asked for the device to be removed, and was told it was "normal." I called the office in tears that same day — that call is on file. When I became significantly destabilized afterward, not one manager offered crisis resources or referrals. I was completely abandoned. Serenity's own Practice Manager, Landon Beste, verbally admitted — with a witness present — that my case was mishandled and that proper protocols were not followed. He promised a financial resolution by Thanksgiving 2024. He never followed up. All communication from Serenity stopped entirely except empty promises of resolution and ghosting me. Since October 2025 I have made over 30 calls with zero resolution. I have since filed complaints with the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration, the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, the BBB, and Cigna insurance. If you are a trauma survivor or someone in a vulnerable mental health state, please do your research before choosing this facility. You deserve to be heard, protected, and cared for — I was none of those things here.”

“Are you feeling down, vulnerable, desperate for some help and guidance, from “trusted professionals”?? Are you looking to be kicked while you’re already down, then look no further, this is the place for you!!!! I had an experience that could be described as an actual nightmare- that has lingered with me for over a year. I’ve contemplated what to write and rewritten this dozens of times, as I’ve never left a bad review and this sure doesn’t come easy for me. I once thought I was a strong advocate for myself, until this day, when I was convinced I was anything but that. This is a glorified TMS and ketamine sales pitch. I repeatedly said no, that I needed time to consider and do my own research, that I was uncomfortable and continued to be trapped in an office, completely withdrawn, crying, belittled and questioned as my no's meant nothing. I was told "look at you, look at how much help you need, you must commit if you ever want to change". I can only imagine the traumas people bring with them to that office, many already kicking themselves, traumas where their previous no’s meant nothing. I escalated this to HR and upper management, and I will say I felt heard and cared for during these discussions. I told them how I was frustrated with myself for not handling it differently, for not firmly standing up while trapped in the office and firmly stating “show me the exit” (in this maze of a facility). The HR person told me I was wrong; and I immediately thought I was being invalidated, again, but he reassured me, I should NEVER have been put in that situation to begin with. I was assured I would not be harassed by them any further, only to continue receiving bills monthly for a TMS treatment plan for $3100 that I NEVER DID. I was told an investigation would take place. I was told there was a new manager whom would help me, but yet have never gotten a response from him. Despite complaints with DORA, my insurance company and the treacherous billing department who told me “don’t worry, we don’t have a collections agency, so just don’t pay the bill”. Well, today, I let them win, I paid my bill, which was their one and only goal. It was always about the money for them, but It was never about the money for me. It was about trying to regain my strength and advocate against a company that only takes from hurting people. After 14 months of back and forth, I decided to be done. All I’ll say now, is save yourself the pain of entering this clinic.”

“If zero was an option, I'd pick it. Serenity has lost their "human" touch. I met with a new doctor on Saturday, who told me that he could not promise that the BS with serenity was over. I just received a call from them asking when I'd like to reschedule. This org has lost it's ability to communicate within itself. I asked for multiple phone calls from a human that could give me answers, and received call after call asking me to reschedule. Corporate greed at it's finest.”
