“I would not recommend this clinic, particularly Lauren Beltran. I've only been a patient for 3 months, and in that time the relationship went from reasonable to frustrating fast. Early on, they accommodated a 1-2 day early refill of my medication, which is standard and allowed by pharmacy and law up to 3 days early. More recently, that same kind of request was met with accusations of medication mismanagement. They tallied up the last 3 months of 1-2 day early fills (which they approved) and told me I should have leftovers, then refused to fill even on time when I was going out of town. It felt like being treated like a child, as if they were standing in my medicine cabinet counting pills. I'm genuinely concerned about their prescribing practices. I work remote and travel for 2-week stretches regularly, so I specifically wanted a clinic that could offer some flexibility around my schedule. Instead, I found the patient support to be subpar, policies applied inconsistently, and felt like policies were being invented on the spot rather than following any clear standard, with accusatory framing toward patients who ask reasonable questions. I'm concerned about how they treat patients overall. I put significant time and money into their intake process, and it's disappointing that it went downhill so quickly. I'd steer clear of this clinic.”

“I like Joanna and her approach. And I love that she shares the who, how, and whys. Im curious. I want to know why my doctor chooses different methods and joann is open to discuss to where I can understand and I feel heard, that is so very important! Also, the fact that she takes into consideration my sleep patterns, medical conditions, and all the other things that my other mental health providers didn't really take into consideration, really matters to me and make all the difference.
