“I had a horrible experience with the office/management team, which is unfortunate because my personal care provider/doctor was amazing. I have nothing negative to say about the actual care I received from my provider. The problems were entirely with the administrative side. There were repeated billing issues, and I received multiple calls asking me to verify information that had already been provided. What made this especially frustrating was that these issues had been ongoing for months, yet the office would wait until the day of my scheduled appointment to contact me and inform me that I was supposedly not eligible for services and would be responsible for approximately $300 per visit. By waiting until the last day to communicate an issue that had existed for months, cancelling the appointment and being charged a cancellation fee became essentially unavoidable. I cancelled rather than risk being charged $300 for the visit, only to then be charged a cancellation fee because of a billing/eligibility issue that their office failed to address in a timely manner. Communication with the office staff was also extremely frustrating. My interactions felt robotic, rushed, and rude. Staff would speak so quickly that it was difficult to understand the information being given, ask if I had any questions, and then immediately continue with what sounded like a scripted response before ending the call without giving me a real opportunity to respond. It is disappointing because I really liked my provider and had a great experience with the actual care I received. Unfortunately, the repeated billing problems, last-minute communication, cancellation fees resulting from those issues, and the way the office handled the situation made the overall experience extremely frustrating. A great provider can only do so much when the administrative side makes accessing care this difficult.”
